Vulcan Engineering first established a Perth based presence in a small 1000m2 workshop located at Egmont Road – Henderson during 1983.
Due to rapid business growth, a new facility was constructed at Possner Way – Henderson. This facility has 2600m2 under cover and is situated on 5 acres of land, servicing the needs of this organisation for several years.
In the early 90’s the directors realised the potential of the Jervoise Bay Development (Australian Marine Complex) and purchased 10 acres of prime real estate on Cockburn Road (now Quill Way) in Henderson, overlooking the planned marine park.
By late 1998 a sufficient infrastructure had been established at the Cockburn Road site to allow relocation of the operation to our current address.
With over 20,000 m2 of land overlooking the Australian Marine Complex, there is considerable opportunity for purpose designed expansion to meet the ever-changing requirements of our clients. A 2400 m2 workshop is currently under construction behind our main fabrication building, this building set to become the Vulcan Engineering Blast & Paint Facility.
Vulcan Engineering still retains ownership of all the above mentioned property’s which if required, allows for considerable expansion. The use of one building as a separate stainless steel fabrication shop is one option now being considered by senior management.
